Schedule A - Single-Dwelling Unit Residential Customers

LADWP's water rate for single family residential customers has four tiers effective April 15, 2016. This tier structure aligns with the costs to provide water and to encourage water conservation. For more information, please go to Understanding Your Water Rates.

The number of hundred cubic feet (HCF) of water (one HCF equals 748 gallons) available to Schedule A customers at the Tier 1 rate is based on indoor basic water needs. Tiers 2 and 3 are based on five lot size categories, three temperature zones (low, medium, and high), and seasons (winter and summer) to provide a sufficient allotment for outdoor native landscaping in Tier 2 and above average outdoor use in Tier 3. Tier 4 comes from the most costly water sources and reflects the higher costs from not conserving.

Customers with Water Rates Schedule A can find their water allotments and temperature zone by viewing LADWP Water Rates Schedule A Allotments (Bimonthly) or calling 1-800-DIAL-DWP (1-800-342-5397).

Total Consumption Charge per HCF of metered water usage for each tier of Schedule A consists of a Base Rate plus Adjustment Factors.
