The Corbin Avenue Mainline Replacement Project is an important part of LADWP’s plan to replace aging infrastructure, in alliance with LADWP’s Water Infrastructure Plan to promote long-term efficient operation and lower the risk of disruptions due to pipeline failures.

  • The existing 6-inch cast-iron mainline is over 60-years old and will be replaced with a more substantial 12-inch, earthquake resilient ductile iron pipe on a one-mile stretch of De Soto Avenue from Nordhoff to Bryant.

LADWP will be replacing the aging reservoir with two new underground, pre-stressed circular concrete storage tanks and a pump station.
