The following written information must be submitted to the LADWP before utility interconnection can be provided to your facility.

  • Plot plan detailing the following: (PDF and CAD files) 
    • Legal description (lot and tract number)
    • Street names, address, and North Arrow
    • Property line lengths with dimensions to the centerline of the street and nearest cross street
    • Location and outline of proposed or existing buildings on site
    • PV Module Locations
    • Proposed AC Disconnect Location
    • Voltage, phase, and amps of main service
    • Existing and proposed metering equipment locations
    • Existing transformer vault and/or pad locations
  • Service Planning Information Form (SPIF) – complete & signed
  • One-line Electrical Diagram detailing the following: 
    • Voltage, phase, and amps of switchboards, meter panels, and load centers
    • Breaker, fuse, and switch amps
    • Inverter information
    • Total Inverter Nameplate AC Rating
    • Combiner and junction box information
    • PV module array information
    • Existing meter numbers
    • Photographs of existing main service and metering equipment
    • In-service date
    • Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technical Data Form (only for projects that include BESS)
