LADWP’s Cool LA program helps seniors ‘Beat the Heat and Stay Safe.’ If you’re 60 years old or older, join us to learn how you can combat extreme heat, and to sign up for LADWP programs that help provide heat relief and lower your electricity bills.
Come enjoy free food and a live broadcast from KBLA Talk 1580AM, who will be broadcasting from the event!

*To qualify for an AC unit:
- RSVP by Friday, July 12 to attend
- You must be an LADWP customer age 60+ (bring proof of age)
- You must be enrolled in LADWP’s EZ-SAVE program
Not enrolled in EZ-SAVE? You can enroll at the event! Please bring these documents to enroll in EZ-SAVE and other LADWP discount programs:
- Proof of age: ID card, driver’s license, or other acceptable proof of age
- Proof of income: Form 540, SS benefit, SSI benefit, General Relief, CalWORKS/AFDC, or notarized letter
- Proof of disability (if applicable): Recent certification (last 2 years) signed by a licensed physician
- Your LADWP bill + your gas and telephone bill (if you have them)
